Section 8-23 of the Connecticut General Statutes mandates that every municipality needs to adopt a Plan of Conservation and Development at least once every 10 years. Suffield's last plan was completed in 1999 which means we need to update the plan this year. The process will largely be done in-house with some outside help for certain sections to be determined by the Zoning and Planning Commission. A memorandum has been sent to a number of the Town's committees and commissions seeking input and feedback on what they would like to see updated. This information will be very helpful in determining which sections of the plan will need the most work. It is the ZPC's hope to do a complete update and your feedback is important. Suffield Zoning Map Wetlands Map Town Center Village District
The Zoning and Planning Commission of the Town of Suffield is scheduled to meet on the third Monday of each month. When a holiday falls on the third Monday, that meeting shall be held on the following monday. All regular meetings begin at 7:00 pm in the Town Hall Meeting Room at 83 Mountain Road.
