The Dispatch facility functions as the emergency operations center for the Town. Calls made to the 911 PSAP center at the Police Station provide instant communication capability with the Sufield Fire Department, Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Service, municipal and state agencies.  Suffield police dispatchers meet and exceed all State communicator requirements and will direct your call to the appropraite agencies. The dispatch center was upgraded in the spring of 2006 creating an ADA compliant agronomic work enviroment, with seperate air and heat controls, adjustable work stations and intergrated video monitoing. The original dispatch area was designed before the implemation of computers and required the entire rebuilding of the work center. Please, stop in for a tour of our upgrade , Monday-Friday from 9:00-5:00.
